Continuing Education

The Aurora University Collaborating Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) recognizes the importance of staff development and the “transformative power of education.” We work closely with an array of school districts, regional offices of education, and educational and cultural institutions to establish partnerships for in-services and training for teachers, social workers and other professionals. Through this collaboration, the university strives, in cooperation with partnership staff, to address the unique staff development needs of its partnership affiliates. During the last academic year, more than 100 partnerships presented more than 400 courses to approximately 2,784 professionals through this partnership model, operating under a formal inter-institutional agreement between the university and the partnership, to ensure qualified instructors and rigorous graduate credit course content.
