ART4510 Painting IV is an advanced course which allows a student, with a background in painting, drawing and design, further intensive experimentation with selected media.
<>

LEARNING OUTCOMES
<>

The student will improve the skills necessary to evaluate the quality and direction of previous work, identify goals, design and complete projects, and evaluate results.
<>

FORMAT AND GRADING
<>

The student and instructor will meet at the beginning of the term and create a program of study which will include the number of works required, meeting times and general expectations. Work will be critiqued on a weekly basis. All work will be submitted at the end of the term for evaluation.
<>

The grade will reflect the quality of the work and its satisfaction of the objectives outlined and agreed upon at the beginning of the term. The grade may be raised or lowered by as much as one letter grade to reflect effort, participation and improvement.
<>

ATTENDANCE at scheduled weekly meetings with an appropriate amount of work will be considered part of the participation component of the grade.
<>

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY:
<>

The faculty of Aurora University seeks to foster a spirit of honesty and integrity. An attempt by any student to present others’ work as their own is a serious offense. Any infraction will be dealt with in accordance with the Aurora University POLICY STATEMENT F1: CODE OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY which can be found in on-line catalogs and the A book. Students are expected to retain a copy of all written work.
<>
